Cookies and browser storage at Iron Vesper
Iron Vesper sets no cookies at all and loads nothing from other websites. It does use your browser's storage to remember a few things. Here is every item, and what your choice changes.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
1. No cookies, no trackers
We set no cookies, first-party or third-party. There are no analytics, advertising, social media or tracking scripts on any page, and every file the site uses comes from ironvesper.co.uk.
2. Always kept in this browser
These are needed for the site to work as it should and to keep your own limits in place, so they are stored whatever you choose:
- ivp.age: your answer to the age question.
- ivp.consent: your choice in the storage banner.
- ivp.pause: the end of a pause you set, if any.
- ivp.lastcall: your nightly last call time, if any.
They stay until you clear site data. Pauses and last call are kept even if you reject storage so that a limit you set yourself cannot be undone by accident.
3. Kept only if you accept
- ivp.bolts: your bolts.
- ivp.logbook: rounds by stall, rank and insignia.
- ivp.settings: reminder, round cap, loss line and calm mode.
If you accept, they stay on this device until you clear them. If you reject, the same items are kept in session storage and disappear when you close the tab.
4. Kept for the open tab only
- ivp.visit: when this visit started, its rounds and bolts, used for reminders, caps and the loss line.
5. Changing your choice
Use at any time, or the link in the footer of every page. Rejecting after accepting removes the items above from this device. You can also clear everything in your browser's settings for this site; the Logbook page has a button to clear your Logbook.
6. Third parties
None. Links to other sites, such as help organisations or the games in Side Tracks, open those sites in a new tab, and their own cookie policies apply there.
